A Roadmap for Exploration and Exploitation of Mineral Raw Materials in Greece

Despite EU climate objectives and raw material needs, there is a growing concern caused by the limited direct access to primary sources supplies of valuable materials, heavy reliance on imports. Member states are encouraged design implement effective policies improve domestic materials promote green energy, thus advancing European competitiveness, particularly for high tech products, emerging innovations quality life. The Greek Ministry Environment Energy, Secretariat-General Energy Mineral Raw Materials (MRM), Directorate-General MRM, as an important stakeholder in management value chain that focuses developing providing transparent stable regulatory framework mining quarrying exploration exploitation, ensures its efficient implementation line with principle sustainability facilitates strategic investments knowledge, technology innovation, therefore enhancing development benefits local communities society more generally.
